Liquid level control: Low temperature liquid in the storage tank will be affected by evaporation and also by changes in liquid level. It is very important to maintain a stable liquid level in the storage tank. Vertical tanks typically have good level control capabilities, as liquids can naturally balance within the tank through gravity. In contrast, the level control of horizontal storage tanks is slightly more difficult because the liquid needs to overcome the effect of gravity in the horizontal direction.

Stability considerations: Normal operation is one of the important factors in selecting storage tanks. Vertical storage tanks have good center of gravity stability and strong wind resistance. Horizontal storage tanks typically require more ground support and additional equipment to ensure stability. Therefore, if you have high requirements for the stability of storage tanks, vertical storage tanks may be a good choice.
Maintenance and operation: Maintenance and operation are also one of the factors to consider when selecting low-temperature storage tanks. Due to its structural characteristics, vertical low-temperature storage tanks can be more easily repaired and maintained. The operation and maintenance of horizontal low-temperature storage tanks may require more effort and equipment.
